Mark & Karen Bates

I am really excited about the response we have gotten on our family blog. I encourage each family to submit something to me. Here is the latest on our little family. Mark is working with my Dad at Smalley & Co and enjoying the good work environment and nice hours. I am working nights at the Remote Encoding Center for USPS. Lizzy is finishing up school this month. She loves to do math and learn new things. She is very creative and always finding creative things to make and do. She will be going into 2nd grade. Tyler is very energetic and fun. He is always on the go. He just finished preschool and will be starting Kindergarten next month. He enjoys building play houses with anything he can find. Dylan has finally mastered coming down the stairs backwards (vs sitting at the top and whining until someone comes to get him). He is a very mellow child and fun to be around. We are enjoying the time we have with our kids watching them learn and grow. There is always something new that just makes us sit back and laugh. We are truly blessed. In July I will be going on a Pioneer Trek with the youth in our ward. I will be helping cook the meals for them. In August Mark will be going for a week to scout camp. On August 14 we will be celebrating 9 years of marriage. Time really does fly when you are having fun. We miss you all and hope that all is well.
