Hello everyone!! We are slow on the bandwagon of blogging and will soon be adding one of our own when we have our own internet access. We had a very good time on our honeymoon and were able to enjoy some wonderful experiences together. One of my favorite things was driving past a motel where people slept in Wigwams which shared a strong resemblence to the Cozy Cone Motel on the movie Cars. Jana and I felt that this place provided some inspiration for the designers of the movie Cars, a personal favorite of ours. We also spent some time in Pinetop,AZ where we were able to enjoy the beautiful pine trees and scenery of Arizona. It is very interesting that there is such a contrast in this state that for many years I thought was dry and miserable.
We have been very busy a the last month with working at Edge Products and Jana teaching kindergarten. A couple weeks ago I had gone on a business trip in Atlanta, Georgia where I was able to interact with many truck enthusiasts. I slept in the Renaissance Waverly Hotel and I was impressed at how nice it was. As I arrived I looked on my bed and wondered what I would do with seven different pillows. During my two nights stay there I found enough time to test every one of them. Last weekend my work sponsored the annual Weekend on the Edge which included Friday night drag races and testing truck horsepower on the dynos. Some of the trucks had over 1,000 HP. I think that I have ingested my years rations of diesel fumes for the year and I am excited to participate next year. Jana has started teaching her kindergarten class and has a lot of kids to teach this year and a husband(me) that distracts her.
